Why LEDGrowLightsTM Are Better


Plants do not use all parts of the spectrum equally.  This is because photosynthetic pigments like chlorophyll and carotene absorb light very strongly at particular wavelengths.  Using the right colors in the proper proportions, the performance of LED lighting can be optimized. This graph shows how the spectrum of LEDGrowLightsTM mirrors that of the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll, a plant's primary energy collecting pigment.
